I build clean and intuitively designed websites and web apps, aimed at helping small businesses and startups meet their web-related goals. I love working with ZF2 to get ideas off the ground and into the cloud; carefully crafting each web app to follow best practices.

CreativePharmacist.com needed to create a new online platform in order to replace their existing platform HealthyHeartClub.com with a more robust and scalable system. The new platform would also serve as a portal for several of the other programs that they offer.
CreativePharmacist.com was built from scratch in order to provide a more maintainable codebase. This required migrating user accounts and other data from the legacy app, as well as porting over some re-usable functionality. The app includes a host of admin-controlled custom features, including integration with Yummly. Security measures were implemented in order to comply with HIPAA regulations, while still providing access to meaningful reports presented beautifully with FusionCharts.
This new platform was built using ZF2, Propel, Wordpress, Bootstrap, and several third-party apps.
Award-winning chefs Michael Mina and Don Pintabona needed a full e-commerce solution for their new venture LocaleGourmetMarket.com
The site includes a responsive-layout for an optimized user-experience on mobile devices. Additionally, the Magento admin area was customized to manage Recipes, Events and Team Members.
Part of the Solution is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping low-income families during times of crisis.
POTS was looking for a complete redesign of their existing site. I worked with a designer to develop a slick one-page site with some subtle parallax effects in the background. A mobile version of the site was also designed for an optimized user-experience on mobile devices. Additionally, the client was given full control of their content with a Wordpress CMS.
SeatGeek was in need of a complete overhaul of their existing blog. Their goal was to create a custom Wordpress theme that integrated more closely with their proprietary SeatGeek App. The blog also needed to use IP-geolcation to customize upcoming events & concerts for users based on their location.
To complete this project, I used Wordpress, HTML 5, and jQuery.
"I would unreservedly recommend Peter to others. He did a wonderful job developing a Wordpress plugin for SeatGeek. He was professional, fast, and did great work." - Jack Groetzinger, SeatGeek Founder
Double Acre is a place where farmers can connect with and sell food directly to local customers, large and small, via an efficient online platform.
The guys over at Pixel Mint asked me to help them take their big idea from concept to reality. I've been leading development on all of the back-end functionality along with much of the front-end programming. We've been rigourously testing our current beta to get it ready for the upcoming launch this spring. Check out the full update on what's going on with Double Acre here.
John Langford Realty provided me with a design that needed to be implemented into a fluid layout. This means that the content automatically adjusts depending on the size of the screen displaying the website. Essentially, the same code provides a usable layout no matter what device you are browsing with: a smartphone, a tablet, or a desktop computer.
To complete this project, I used HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, and PHP.
"[Peter]'s a talented yet down-to-earth web developer and is very much a self starter. He asked the right questions from the onset of our project and was able to quickly troubleshoot problems as they arose. Most importantly he delivered our project on-time and on-budget." - John Langford
